Rajasthan offers opportunity for private sector investment in medical & healthcare institutions and medical, dental & paramedical colleges, etc.

The state is aggressively promoting Medical and Health sector. Evidence of this is the presence of medical institutions like Fortis Hospital, Manipal Hospital, Soni Group of Hosptials, Aravali Hospitals, Santokba Durlabhji Memorial Hospital, Bhagwaan Mahaveer Cancer Hospital & Research Centre and Narayan Hrudayalaya Multi-speciality hospital in the State.

Rajasthan seeks private sector investment in health sector in order to facilitate establishment of quality health institutions within the framework of the set standards and norms. The state is already a major tourist destination and has tremendous potential for extending this into medical tourism.

Policy like RIPS-2014 offers concessions and tax benefits for such investments.
