RAJASTHAN STATE WETLAND AUTHORITY (RSWA)

Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change (MoEFCC), Government of India as per the notification No. G.S.R 1203 (E) dated 26.09.2017 has issued the Wetlands (Conservation and Management) Rules 2017 for the Integrated Management of Wetlands. As per the section 5(1) of the Wetlands (Conservation and Management) Rules 2017, the Government of Rajasthan have constituted the State Wetland Authority Rajasthan (SWAR) vide GO File No. 6(3)Env/ 2017 dated 27.11.2019  reconstituted on 17.07.2020 with Minister of Forest & Environment as the Chairperson, Chief Secretary to Government as the Vice Chairperson and Joint Secretary Environment as the Member Secretary.
