Raising of plants for conservation of  Rare & Threatened tree species

It was planned that two year old seedlings of rare and threatened tree species would be got raised in the existing nurseries of Forest Department. For this purpose during 2014-15 a target of maintenance of 1,60,000 saplings and raising of 60,000 saplings  and amount Rs. 34,00,000/- was allotted to different Forest Divisions.

A target of raising 1,00,000 seedlings for conservation of  rare and threatened tree species  was given to Forest Divisions Jaipur (N) , Alwar, Udaipur, Dungarpur, Pratapgarh, Banswara, Chittorgarh, Baran, Sawai Madhopur,  Jodhpu, Jaisalmer and Sirohi in the year 2012-13.

The raised seedlings have been planted by concern Forest Divisions in their forest areas.
